Scared

It's midnight and I'm still up.  B is sleeping soundly while I'm wide awake thinking about how my life has changed since I returned here and how it will continue to change in the next few weeks.  I have to be honest, I'm really scared.  I guess 'freaked out' is more apt.  Suddenly I am terrified of giving birth...  All my readings on pain that comes with giving birth (CS or otherwise) have made me even more scared! Tell me, is this normal?

Updates and more...

• It has been 2 weeks since I arrived here in the Philippines, so far things have been great.  I've been uber busy with a lot of things...   We travel back and forth from QC to Guimba (sometimes Tarlac). When I'm not at the mall shopping for Baby Sobie, I'm home trying (hard, really hard!) to be an interior decorator! Hehehe. :) Will post some pictures once everything is in place already.

• I'm on my 37th week now, which means that I can safely deliver anytime :) I can't wait!!! With all the discomforts of 3rd trimester,  giving birth is like a bright light at the end of the tunnel - a very long tunnel, that is.  I've been having sleepless nights, been eating a lot (as always...) and feeling very tired all the time.  I've also become so clumsy lately! I drop things here and there, buti na lang may tagapulot ako. Hehehe.

• I'm so  freaking heavy now! I've gained 20 kgs... My goodness, how am I going to lose all this weight??? Will I ever go back to my pre-pregnancy figure?  Did I mention I have 2 weddings to attend early next year, where I am part of the entourage?  Di kaya magmukha akong ninang instead of a bridesmaid?  Hehehe.  We shall see. :)

• We had our 3D/4D ultrasound the day after I arrived from SG.  Sadly, there was no sighting of Sobie's face.  I guess she wants it to be a surprise.  Supladang bata! :)

•  I'll be working on our first ever Christmas tree this week! Exciting! I super duper love Christmas!!!  (Who doesn't?)

14 kgs and counting...

14 KILOS.  30 FREAKING POUNDS.  That's how much I've gained so far.  And I'm only on my 31st week. :)

We will name her SOPHIA BEATRICE - a name fit for a princess.  Her nickname is SOBIE (reminds me of an LV purse [Sobe] I soooo covet... hehehe)

Halfway There!

Baby's twenty weeks today. :) 4 more months! Yey!

19 Weeks

Baby is exactly 19 weeks today. One more week and I'm halfway through my pregnancy! Yey! :)

This week, I've been feeling some little movements in my tummy. Baby sure is making his/her presence felt. :)

This week's cravings - still Quarter Pounder!

Blue or Pink?

Scheduled next week is our FA (Fetal Anomaly) Scan. At 20 weeks and 1 day, by then we should be able to know whether we're having a baby boy or girl. Ayayay, I can't wait. :) My sister thinks I'm having a boy. So do my boss, my flatmate, some friends... Wah, does that mean I look UGLY??? Grrr. Hahaha! On the other hand, hubby thinks we're having a girl. Why, because I look pretty pa rin daw. Hahaha, I bet that's just his own way of making me feel good amidst the constant back pain and countless pimples I am having. :) SWEET.

What do I think, hmmm... I'm guessing it's a baby boy. Oh well. We shall see.

Blame It On The Hormones

It started with one tiny zit, then came another... then other. Now my face is covered all over with pimples!!! Argghhhhh! I've never had an issue with pimples before, even when I was a teenager. Hormones, I HATE YOU!!!

Quarter Pounder

I have never eaten a McDonald's quarter pounder until I got pregnant. Baby seems to like it a lot and I mean A LOT! :) Hmmm, that explains the extra pounds I've been rapidly gaining lately... Ok, I'll worry about that some other time. :)

Gleek

Baby and I are a big fan of GLEE. I think (HOPE) he/she will be musically inclined. :)

Meet Our Baby

We planned to have a honeymoon baby, maybe one made in London or Paris or Florence or Venice... but we got distracted by shoes and bags! (Who wouldn't be?) After more than three months, we finally succeeded - an election baby! God is so good, we couldn't ask for anything more. :) Check out his/her first picture - very tiny at 0.65 cm at 6 weeks and 5 days.
